War Horse was such a wonderful movie. This movie exceeded my expectations. It was moving, emotional, beautiful, and so heartwarming. It's sure to become a classic. You don't have to be a horse lover to love this movie.
There isn't a lot of blood, but you can still see the horrors of war and how intense it was for the soldiers and horses, as well as civilians. The Battle of the Somme scene was especially intense.
The acting was wonderful, the cinematography was beautiful, John Williams' score was perfect, and the horses were so well trained! Spielberg has made a masterpiece!
