關于世界地球日的作文：環(huán)保小事
環(huán)境保護，這個話題，可以說是家喻戶曉，人人皆知。但在現(xiàn)實生活中，一些人還是不太重視，認為微不足道，在我看來，環(huán)保要從件件小事做起。我就經(jīng)歷過這樣兩件小事：
其一：有一天，我去超市買東西，快到超市門口時，看見有幾個散發(fā)宣傳單的，見人就給，見車就放，可是有些人卻不要，隨手就扔地上，我過去將紙扔進垃圾箱里。又看見兩個人用膠水將宣傳單貼在墻上，遠遠望去，活像一塊塊“牛皮癬”趁他們不注意，我又拿出我的絕活“撕紙功”，哈哈，“牛皮癬”被我除掉了一大片。
其二：有一次，我在樓底玩，發(fā)現(xiàn)遠處草地上冒出了縷縷白煙，走近一看，原來，是我們班一群小孩在那里點火燒草，草黑了一大片，我以大哥哥的身份連忙制止，并講了火災的危險性和環(huán)保的重要性。他們羞愧難當，趕忙從附近端來水把火熄滅，結束了燒草行動。
環(huán)保，不僅可以從大事情做起，也可從件件小事做起，我希望大家都來愛護我們共同的家園——地球，讓大自然再還我們一個碧水藍天！

世界地球日（The World Earth Day）即每年的4月22日，是一個專為世界環(huán)境保護而設立的節(jié)日，旨在提高民眾對于現(xiàn)有環(huán)境問題的意識，并動員民眾參與到環(huán)保運動中，通過綠色低碳生活，改善地球的整體環(huán)境。地球日由蓋洛德·尼爾森和丹尼斯·海斯于1970年發(fā)起�，F(xiàn)今，地球日的慶祝活動已發(fā)展至全球192個國家，每年有超過10億人參與其中，使其成為世界上最大的民間環(huán)保節(jié)日。中國生物多樣性保護與綠色發(fā)展基金會副理事長兼秘書長周晉峰表示：“這次活動可以說是現(xiàn)代環(huán)保活動的開端，它推動了西方國家重視環(huán)境污染和破壞問題，具有里程碑式的意義。與此同時，該活動對1972年聯(lián)合國第一次人類環(huán)境會議的召開也起到了積極推動作用，讓人類充分認識到‘只有一個地球’的重要內涵。”
中國從20世紀90年代起，每年都會在4月22日舉辦世界地球日活動。1970年4月22日，美國舉行第一次地球日活動，這是人類有史以來第一次大規(guī)模的群眾性環(huán)保活動。
2021年4月22日是第52個世界地球日。
活動意義
地球日網(wǎng)絡1970年4月22日的“地球日”活動，是人類有史以來第一次規(guī)模宏大的群眾性環(huán)境保護活動。作為人類現(xiàn)代環(huán)�；顒拥拈_端，它推動了西方國家環(huán)境法規(guī)的建立。如美國就相繼出臺了清潔空氣法、清潔水法和瀕危動物保護法等法規(guī)；1970年的地球日還促成了美國國家環(huán)保局的成立，并在一定程度上促成了1972年聯(lián)合國第一次人類環(huán)境會議在斯德哥爾摩的召開，有力地推動了世界環(huán)境保護事業(yè)的發(fā)展。1973年聯(lián)合國環(huán)境規(guī)劃署的成立，國際性環(huán)境組織——綠色和平組織，地球日網(wǎng)絡的創(chuàng)建，以及保護環(huán)境的政府機構和組織在世界范圍內的不斷增加，“地球日”都起了重要的作用。因此，“地球日”也就成為了全球性的活動。人們普遍認為1970年4月22日在美國發(fā)生的第一屆地球日活動是世界上最早的大規(guī)模群眾性環(huán)境保護運動，這次運動催化了人類現(xiàn)代環(huán)境保護運動的發(fā)展，促進了已開發(fā)國家環(huán)境保護立法的進程，并且直接催生了1972年聯(lián)合國第一次人類環(huán)境會議。而1970年活動的組織者丹尼斯·海斯也被人們稱為地球日之父。
