　　Keeping a diary in English is one of the effective ways to improve our English writing ability. It can help us develop the habit of thinking in English. Almost all students don’t know what to write in English at the beginning. I had the same experience. But I just keep writing down everything happened to be in my mind. I will turn to a dictionary if I come across any words that I don’t know how to express. The second day, I just do the same.

　　Then I keep on writing every day. Maybe the things I write at first cannot be called an article, or even a sentence. It doesn’t matter. I do understand that it needs time to get myself used to thinking in a different way. Time can prove my efforts will not end in vain.

　　The star in the sky were twinkling.Some were crowded,and others were separate.then I found the stars were not the same color.There were many colors,white,gray,light blue,orange,and so on.It was really beautiful.At that time,the sky was like blue damask decorated by millions of bright diamonds.

　　Looking up the sky,I saw the moon.It was like a naughty child.Sometimes it hid in the clouds and sometimes it got out of the clouds.It seemsed to play"hide and seek"with us.The stars around the moon,however,were as girls,hiding themselves in the clouds.

　　Oh,what a beautiful sky!

　　When we entered the park, we were surprised to see so many flowers. They all fully blossomed. We walked along the stone road, enjoying the charming view. The most interesting thing was to climb the Fragrant Mount. We climbed the Mount, and at the same time we could enjoy the splendid maple leaves all over the Mount. We climbed to the top after an hour. We looked at the city from the top of the Mount. What a beautiful city it was! There stood countless tall buildings. Many cars were running along wide streets. White clouds were just above our heads.

　　One day, he took me to fish, too. In autumn, fish have grown up. It is the best season to fish. First, we chose a good place. Then my father helped me put an earthworm onto the fishhook. Afterwards, I threw the fishhook into the river. I waited for a long time. Suddenly, I saw the float sink. I was very happy. I pulled it out of the water but I only saw half of the earthworm. The fish played a trick on me. I was very angry. But my father said to me, “it takes time. You need to be more patient.” I tried again. A few minutes later, I caught a big fish and I showed it to my father. My father praised me, “what a good angler you are!”
