以前，有一個國家戰(zhàn)敗了，公主帶領(lǐng)一些人逃了出來，逃到一個海島，公主想向當(dāng)?shù)氐那蹰L買一大塊地安頓下來，酋長給公主一張黑板大小的牛皮對公主說：“你用這張牛皮能圍住多大的地方，我就賣給你多大地方�！惫飨胍幌耄桶堰@張牛皮用剪子剪成細(xì)條，然后用針縫起來了，在海邊圍成一個半圓形。這個酋長不得不佩服這位聰明的公主，終于把這片地方讓給了這位公主。
Once upon a time, when a country was defeated in the war, the princess led some people to escape to an island. The princess wanted to buy a large piece of land from the local chief to settle down. The chief gave the princess a piece of leather the size of a blackboard and said to the princess, "if you can encircle any place with this piece of leather, I will sell it to you." When the princess thought about it, she cut this piece of cowhide into thin strips with scissors, then sewed it up with needles and made a semicircle at the seaside. The chief had to admire the clever Princess and finally gave the place to her.
丁老師告訴我們說；“我們現(xiàn)在學(xué)過的幾種圖形中，圓的面積是最大的，下來就屬正方形的面積了。大家明白了嗎？
Mr. Ding told us, "among the graphs we have learned now, the area of the circle is the largest, and then it belongs to the area of the square. Do you understand?
